What is gotara.in ?

GoTara.in is an online Auto Transfer/rental booking portal in around Tarapith Area which enable customer to book Auto online. Our service enables customers to search for Auto Transfer/rental options and then make an online reservation by making an advance payment or in Pay at Pickup.

Is there any transport from Railway station?

We recommend that you use the Auto Transfer for pick up or drop off from/to Railways Station. However, please note that these Autos cannot be rented/hired by you on an hourly basis. If you require a Auto for making multiple visits and trips within the city, then it is recommended that you use Auto Rent option or contact GoTara.in helpline.

How do I book Auto on GoTara.in?

To book Auto, select pick-up from & drop-off to and click search. Available Auto will be displayed. Select Auto & Book. Please note that Auto capacity maximum 5 adults. If you intend to make any changes, or customize, please sending us an e mail at: gotarapith@gmail.com

How do I cancel my booking?

Yes, you can before One day. Within one day cancellation will not possible. You can cancel your booking in your my booking section or mail us at gotarapith@gmail.com or call our helpline number. Please read our Booking and Cancellation Policy for clarity on the same.

Can I book a Auto without paying online?

Yes! You can use pay at Pickup!

Did I need to register on your site to book tickets?

No. You can use our service fully without the need to register. You just need to provide your details at the time of booking. Note that order confirmation mail will be send to your email id. You have to confirm it.

When will I receive the vehicle and driver details?

We will inform to your email, the vehicle number and driver details 2 to 6 hours after confirmed booking. In case you do not receive the same, please call the customer care number.

How is the total fare/price calculated for a car rental service?

In Auto Transfer there is a fixed fare but in Tarapith area Auto rental fares constitute of various components as below:

  • Per Hour Rate: This is base rate which will be charged on every hour travelled.
  • Minimum hour charged: There is a minimum hour which will be charged. After one hour charged will increase by per hour rate. (e.g. Your booking is 1hour 15 Minutes (per hour charge – Rs 300), then charged should be Rs. 300*2 = Rs. 600).
  • Toll, parking and state taxes: These will be charged on actual at the end of the journey. You need to settle this with the driver in return for the relevant receipts. You can always call us at our helpline in case of any discrepancy.
  • Starting Hour: Pickup is starting from 7AM and dropping Time Maximum 8PM.
  • Additional hour charges: In case the actual hours are more than the usage hour mentioned in the base package, additional amount per additional hour need to paid.

I don't have a Credit/Debit card. I don't have Net Banking as well. Can I still book a Auto?

Yes, you can. You can pay with cash at Pickup point.

What all payment options I have online?

Is the online payment secure?

Yes, the online payment done on GoTara.in is completely safe and secure. We have tied up with Razorpay (Payment Gateway) which is completely safe. As a company policy we don’t store any card detail.

How do we settle the payment? Is there an advance deposit required ?

No need to pay any cost at the time of booking. You have to pay the full payment to Auto Driver at pickup point, before your journey. You can use cash or UPI option for your payment.

This is to be sure that your booking a genuine one and we can go ahead with the reservations. On special request you can also make the payment, but before the commencement of services. This can be agreed upon as per service.

How do I get a refund?

In case of cancellation of tour/travel services due to any avoidable/unavoidable reason/s we must be informed by call or you can cancel your tour in your booking history section, one day before your journey. Cancellation charges depending on your package. I will be FREE or nominal fees.

In regard to refund of unused / unutilized services (which are paid for and cancelled in advance) the refund amount would be worked out on the basis of cancellation policy as described above and the money would be accordingly refunded to the person who has made the payment to us. Please note that the refund process may take 2 – 4 weeks due to banking procedures. If the refund is made to the credit card account OR to Bank account, the bank charges would be debited from the refund amount.
